If you feel like doing something more adventurous, try going to the Changi sailing Club. They teach lots of courses, both for water and on-land activities, for prices that range from 25 to 60 US$(boat rental included). The teachers are highly-trained(the club dates back almost 70 years) and they are also extremely nice. So you don't have to panic if the boat won't stand still on water from the first time :)
