I assure you there's no chance of finding something cheaper then $50. The best option would be a room (single - $90, double - $100) at Metropolitan Y. It's at a 15-minute distance north from The Orchard Rd, 0n 60 Stevens Rd. I recommend you to book on the internet fist and you'll get a discount of $20.
