real jazz performances in Singapore... Jazz@South Bridge

On 82B Boat Quay there is this cool bar named Jazz@South Bridge where not only locals artists are invited but also international ones. Anyway, you can listen to live jazz every night because the bar has its own band. When the place becomes too crowdy performances can be watched on a TV. I've heard people must sometimes pay a charge of $20.
