Feeling the historical atmosphere from Singapore's Raffles hotel

Posted 1 year ago by wshopper in response to stafford's question: Tomorrow is our day for visiting Singapore's Colonial District. Where should we go first? (give a different answer) .

I advise to go and visit a hotel. Maybe it will seem strange to you but go and see... Raffles Hotel it's one of the best buildings in the area. It was built at the end of the 19th century as a bungalow and if at that time had only 10 rooms now it has dozens. It's no problem if you don't have money to rent a room, for the lobby is open for everyone. On the third floor there's the Raffles Hotel Museum. Location: 1 Beach Rd.
