Singapore's temple of 1000 lights.... Sakya Muni Buddha Gaya

Posted 1 year ago by playfast in response to avatar katia's question: I would like to visit some Singaporean temples from Little China. Who can share his opinions about any of them with me? (give a different answer) .

While visiting Chinatown I entered Sakya Muni Buddha Gaya temple, also known as temple of 1000 lights. It is on 366 Race Course street. I recommend it because you're gonna see a giant Buddha statue (it's around 15m high, and 300 tonne) surrounded by many yellow tigers. That's the main attraction. You can visit it only between 8am and 4.45pm.
