I bought a ticket for a cruise along the river from Singapore River Cruises. It cost me $12 because I took a boat that was reaching Clarke Quay only. If I had chosen a longer tour (including Robertson Quay too) it would have been $15, but I thought it was not necessary. The schedule and the entire itinerary can be found at www.rivercruise.com.sg
