Local transport in Singapore

Getting around in Singapore is extremele easy, as there are all the public means of transport one could ever think of!!You have boats for easy travelling on the Singapore River, buses(ticket only 60 cent a trip), taxis(which are extremely cheap, by the way), bicycle trishaws(a bit more expensive-about 50 US$ half an hour), cars for rent and even a metro(quickest way to get around, for 80 cents).
Tip: If you're an active person, better take a bicycle, as it is the safest and most rapid way of travelling, especially during the rush hours of noon.
